Condolence: We were very saddened to hear of Uncle Gord's passing. Please know our thoughts and prayers are always with you, but especially now during these trying times. May we find peace in the reassurance that he is Home at last, reunited with Nanny and Daddy Sturge and joyfully singing amongst the angels. Well done Uncle Gord. It saddened my heart when mom called with the news of Gord's passing. my childhood memories will always be cherished with your visits to Lewisporte at mom and dad's house. Gord was always happy and I loved to hear him sing and especially when he would play mom's accordion. Gord was special, he will always be remembered. He is when he longed to be and is healed, praise God! May The Lord provide the strength you need in the days ahead!! God Bless.

Gordon was perhaps Wesleyville's greatest unsung citizen.

Through his sonorous voice and melodious accordion, he brought music and comfort to hundreds of mourners, in the true Salvationist spirit that was his upbringing.
Through his gospel group, he brought happiness and entertainment to hundreds of elderly and shut-ins.

To all who knew him, he was the epitome of quiet graciousness.

My sympathies go out to you in the loss of one of Wesleyville's beloved sons..
George
