As I write this message I find joy and comfort in the memories that rush into my head. All of the happy memories that are etched within me over the years. And I am thankful for the countless hours I shared with Pop. I am thankful for every lunch of French toast and bacon I ate whilst sitting in his home. I am thankful for all of the sugar free gum we chewed. All those cups of tea and lunches. All the times David and I laid around his home watching television or playing bingo and uno with nan. I am thankful for every time I saw him walk down our drive way. And every time I saw him sat in his Toyota in his driveway - waiting for nan, no doubt. Thankful for all the rhymes, tricks, and lessons he passed on. I am thankful he has left me with smiles, laughter and warmth. I am truly blessed to have spent so much time with pop and nan.
