Thomas Parsons of Badger’s Quay passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Thursday July 14th, 2011 at the age of 74 years. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Parsons of Indian Bay. In December, 1957 he became a Lay Reader. Thomas worked with Lundrigan’s for 29 years as a concrete foreman, he worked in Churchill Falls and help build the GBS Hibernia structure. He is predeceased by brothers Caleb, sister Josie, brother-in-law George. He leaves to mourn his wife (Jean), children; Roger (Sharon) Parsons, Zora (Cliff) Stagg, Roy (Bonnie) Parsons, Brian Parsons, and Tracey (Monty) Norris, grandchildren; Lee (Tracy), Kevin (Renee), Keith (Lisa Marie), Bradley (Natasha), Ryan (Katelyn), Skylair, Sheldon, Nowell, brother Winston, sisters; Shirley and Madeline predeceased by her husband Wilbur, Rebecca (Stanley), father in law- Charlie Janes Sr predeceased by Elizabeth and a large circle of nieces, nephews. Thomas will be greatly missed by a large circle of family and friends.
