Roland was born December 20th, 1929 to Leslie and Mary Winter at North West Arm. He married Betty Pardy of Musgrave Harbour on April 4th, 1956 and together they raised a family of four daughters.
Roland is pre-deceased by parents Leslie & Mary; brothers Edward, Herbert, Leslie & David; and sisters Lillian, Leah, Alma & Mereda. He leaves to mourn wife Betty; daughters Brenda (Tony Howell) Pound Cove, Maxine (George Kean) Labrador City, Joyce (Wade Goodyear) Lumsden, and Lillian (Terry King) Badger’s Quay; grandchildren Dawn (Mark), George (Stephanie), Lesley (Jeff), Gina (Jared), Jolene and Ryan; three great-grandchildren Mason , Christopher and Connor; brothers Gregory (Violet), George (Susie), and Bruce (Margaret); sister Lottie (Jack Knee)and many nieces and nephews; he will always be in their hearts and memories.
