Condolence: Memories of Jean go back along way.We grew up next to each other in Safe Harbor and we spent a lot of time together when we had our house in Badgers quay and through all the years,We have been close friends. In later years in the summer ,the four of us would go in the camper, for a couple of weeks. We would travel around Newfoundland. What Laughter and fun we had. They would come in to St. John's to spend time with us, sometimes for a week or two. Jean and Tom were very good friends of ours. We will surely miss her as well as Tom. Our thoughts are with all the family ,at this difficult time.God Bless You all, And so long to our two good friends . Rest in Peace

Condolence: To all of Jeans Family

We are saddened to hear of Jeans passing and so sorry we can't be with you during this sad and most difficult time in your lives.

Jean was very special to us. To my late mother she was the daughter she never had and Jean was always there for her right to the very end. To my brother and me Jean was the sister we never had right from our childhood in Safe Harbour and in recent years we could depend on Jean to look after mothers needs.

Jean was a wonderfull, genuine person-- a good daughter--sister-wife-mother and grand mother. She was so full of fun and she lived every day to the fullest. How can we forget her stories she woud tell.

I realize its a diffcult time for the family, it was only seven months ago when Tom passed. But let us take comfort in the fact that we know that they are now at peace, no more suffering.

To those of us who remain let us cherish the great memories we have of days gone by and may that help us through the days a head.

I think Jean would say -------

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthin it now with undue grief
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wanted me now he set me free.

Rest in peace Jean.

From, Peter and Shirley Barbour.
