Jack Wicks passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2011 at the age of 60 years. He was the son of Edgar & Gertrude Wicks. He is also predeceased by brother Robert Wicks, brother in laws Herb Rogers & Victor Elliot, sister in law Karen Wicks and Nephew Matthew Wicks. He leaves to mourn his daughters; Rachel Shortt of Pickering, Ontario, Shannon Wicks ( Branden Quirion ) of Ajax, Ontario, Amanda Wicks of Ajax, Ontario Grandchildren; Eden-Lise, Noah and Chloe. Brother David (Linda) Wicks of Wareham, sisters; Audrey Rogers of Hare Bay, Bernice (Raymond) Elliott of Eastport, Kathleen Elliott of Eastport, Jennifer (Gerard) Hounsell of Wareham and Judy (Mackenzie) Hunt of Centreville. Jack will also be missed by a special friend Eric Matthews and many close nieces, nephews and family. Visitation was held at Sincerely Yours Funeral Home in Centreville on Saturday September 24, 2011, 3:00 -5:00 pm, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. and Sunday, September 25, 2011, 2:00- 5:00, 7:00 -9:00 pm. Rev. Betty Harbin officiated the Funeral service at St. Augustine Anglican Church Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Followed by internment at the St. Augustine Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jennifer Pender of Sincerely Yours Funeral Home.
