Condolence: TO: Bob, Cassie & family; Bill, Trixie & family; the Kean families Once again a loved one has been " promoted to glory" and although there is joy in her " home going" as she is now with her Lord and Saviour...there is also a sense of loss and grief caused by the separation that death brings. Look to your Heavenly Father and find in Him the comfort and strength that you need today and in the days that lie ahead. Praying for you....God bless...

Condolence: There are people that come into our lives that really leave an impact. Aunt Josie (and uncle Lester) were these people. We remember the days when we would visit with them in their home aunt Josie would be all there to make a cup and we would sit and talk. God blessed us many times through their lives. We would like to send deepest sympathies to the family. We know that you will miss your mom, but always remember that she is gone home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a wonderful Christian woman. Paul says, absent from the body, present with The Lord. God bless you all.

Condolence From: Virginia
Condolence: To all the family, We wish that we could be there with you all to say good-bye to our beloved Nanny Kean. Nan, you are the most wonderful example of motherhood. So many times when I feel like I’m going crazy with my ‘brood of two’, I say to myself, “How did Nanny ever do it with thirteen under her feet and a husband that was away working for much of the time”!! I look like such a woos in comparison to you Nan!! You gave up so much for your children and your husband all those years, living the life of a servant. Well now it’s time for you to reap your reward for a job well done. So grab Poppy’s hand, sit down, put your feet up and have a true rest! We will miss you very much. Lots of Love to everyone from Virginia, Matt, Sophia and Sammy in Victoria, BC

Condolence From: Lieutenants Brent & Melissa Haas
Condolence: To The Kean Family; We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Josie’s passing. We would love to be there with you at this time as you celebrate the wonderful life of such a Godly women. We will always cherish the precious memories we have of Aunt Josie. We will forever count it a great privilege to have been the last Corps Officers of the Wesleyville Corps to have both Lester and Josie Kean as soldiers and a great source of support and prayer warriors for their Corps Officers. We are not sure what their first conversation in heaven might have been but we imagine it might have started by Uncle Lester saying “Mother maid…” Although we are not able to be there please know that the Kean family is in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to be in the days ahead. We rejoice with you as a faithful soldier of Jesus Christ and The Salvation Army has received her promotion to glory. May you know the reality expressed by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:13, “ We do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.” Cherish your precious memories and hold on to the great hope we have of being reunited with our loved ones in heaven. Love & Prayers; Lieutenants Brent & Melissa Haas Happy Valley-Goose Bay , NL

Condolence: To: Mrs. Kean's Family Please accept our sincere sympathies in your sorrow. We are sure that you saw your mother as a friend, a guide, a teacher, and one who you could share your deepest feelings with. One of our favourite hymns that we use to sing at "the Kean's Christmas parties, or other get togethers" was "I Must Have the Saviour with Me, For I Dare Not Walk Alone". We know that many of these hymn's will be shared at her "Celebration of Life" on Saturday; and, hope of peaceful rest in heaven is assured". Ruby & Bob Edmonton

Condolence From: Carl & Phyllis Hillier
Condolence: To the Kean Family: Our hearts are indeed saddened on the news of Mrs. Kean's passing. Both of us have such wonderful memories of both Mr. & Mrs. Kean's love & support of each other, their family & their church. We remember well the stories & the quiet sense of humor that Mrs. Kean had. Perhaps not so quiet for Lester, as I remember one evening of fellowship at their home in Badgers Quay & Lester's continuous talking about current & past events when suddenly all around the lunch table there was complete quiet when Mrs. Kean looking over her shoulder at the clock on the wall said to me "9:13 Carl boy & there is a lull in the conversation" with which Lester got his second wind & was never quiet again for the rest of our visit. We know they are both now with each other in the presence of their Heavenly Father & we are sure that Lester has many new things to tell your Mother. Our thoughts & prayers are with you as you celebrate your Mother's life together.
