Florence’s family is deeply saddened to announce that their devoted and loving mother, grandmother passed peacefully away at Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her adoring husband Arthur Sturge; parents Alpheaus & Tammer (Preston) Oldford. Left with fond and loving memories are her five daughters; Marie (Ike) Fifield, Doris (Jim) Pond, Irene (Rick) Kean, Elas (Bill) Winter, Rhonda Welcher (Morris Boyd). Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren; Juanita, Bramwell, Jeff, Darrell, Marie, Michelle, Lee, Jennifer, Shaun, Mitchell, Sheila, 19 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Flossie will also be greatly missed by a special friend Minnie Winter, friends and staff at Otterbury Manor, and extended family & friends. Florence was know as many names to her family and friends; Mom, Nan, Lui, Floss, Flossie, and with great pride from her husband “you”. She was truly a simple woman and homemaker that devoted her life to caring about family, there was always something cooking or baking and place at her table.
