Condolence: Sorry to hear of the passing of a husband, father, grandfather and a great friend. Memories are to be cherished and you all have lots of them. Avalon was a man of principle and integrity. He was a man among equals. Despite his disablities he was able to maitain his dignity and do a hard days work, both in the lumber woods and on the sea. "they that go down to the seas in ship and occupy their business in great waters, they see the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep. His faith in his God kept him steadfast during all the hardship and adversity of life. During my visits with him I was able to discern that he was content and spirit filled.
