With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather who passed away at the age of 83. Abe was one of eight children born to the Late Harold & Rebecca (nee Best) Sturge. He was predeceased by his brothers Lester & Pierce Sturge; stepmother Drucella Sturge. Leaving to morn and cherish his memories are his wife Annie (nee White); son Woodrow (Holly) of Lab City; daughters Stella (Eugene) Winter of Valleyfield, Marilyn (Rodger) Woodland of Valleyfield, Dianne (Roland) Hunt of Wareham; brothers Art (Violet) of Wesleyville, Clarence (Pat) Sturge of Ontario, Wade (Kay) Sturge of Halifax; sisters Bertha (Alex) Stratton of Brookfield, Ethel Gaulton of St.John’s; sisters in law Barbara & Linda; grandchildren Crystal Richard, Lee (Tracy) Winter, Rodney (Gina) Woodland, Ryan (Leslie Hussey) Woodland, Melissa (Mitch) Janes, Andy (Jena-lee) Hunt, Curtis (Melissa) Sturge, Kyle (Candace) Sturge; precious great grandchildren Ryder Woodland, Cody & Raine Woodland, , Amber & Scott Winter, Lucas & Nick Richards, Lyneah Sturge and Harper Hunt. Visitations were held at Sincerely Yours Funeral Home on April 16-17, 2015. Pastor William Burton officiated the Funeral Service at the Salvation Army Corps on Friday April 17th , 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Valleyfield. Flowers were graciously accepted, or as an expression of sympathy donations in his memory were made to the Pentecostal Church.
